- Animating Democracy Project fosters arts and cultural activities that encourage and enhance civic engagement and dialogue. They provide publications, resources, case studies, research, technical support and professional development to individuals and organizations.
- Arts and Healing Network hosts a stunning web site that serves as an international resource for anyone interested in the healing potential of art. See also their monthly news.
- Arts for Global Development provides a virtual place to exchange ideas and resources for artists around the world working for community development and social justice.
- Community Arts Network offers an extremely extensive collection of articles and resources on community based art.
- Grantmakers in the Arts is a network of grantmakers supporting the arts. It meets annually and publishes a wonderful journal.
- Urban Arts Institute publishes studies available online including a series on Culture, Creativity and Communities Program.
