Volunteers Wanted
To help promote Arts for Social Healing
Our projects include:
- Building a website to promote arts for social healing.
- Creating arts fairs to showcase the power of community arts.
- Organizing giving circles for arts funders.
- Launching an awards program to acknowledge leaders in the field.
Examples of possible volunteer projects
- Help create a website promoting arts for social healing
- Write up powerful examples of arts projects
- Find photographs and video clips to post on the site
- Help with Dreamweaver/HTML
- Promote the site through arts and funders’ networks
- Help organize arts fairs to showcase community arts
- Assist in the selection and invitation of arts groups
- Promote the Boston fairs – create PR, outreach, articles
- Help with logistics during the May 20 th Boston event
- Organize giving circles for arts funders in several cities.
- Help do outreach to Boston-area donor networks
- Create a “brand look” and brochure for giving circles nationally.
- Give presentations about social healing arts to prospective circle members.
- Launch an awards program to acknowledge leaders in the field
- Solicit donations from corporations.
- Help research field leaders and design selection process
- Create PR for the awards.
